Safety

At Gulf Coast Industrial, our highest priority is to foster a safety culture that instills a sense of pride and duty to protect the health and welfare of every employee, and everyone we associate with, during the course of our business activities. Our Environmental, Safety & Health Program provides resources for training, oversight, enforcement, proper tools, equipment and hiring the personnel needed to manage this program. Management at all levels must demonstrate leadership in teaching employees the attitude, technical knowledge and behavioral expectations required to keep them safe during performance of the work.

We have a team of safety professionals to administer, implement and enforce our Environmental Safety & Health Program. Safety statistics are sent weekly to the president and division managers for review. Management holds bi-annual meetings with the safety department, project managers, superintendents and our key project leaders to discuss safety and create a strategic action plan for improving and promoting safety on the job site.
